Earning Extra Money Online

There is always a time when you will need to make some extra money online. You might be just starting Internet marketing or your campaigns are not converting as high as they should and you need some extra cash to pay the bills. For whatever reason there might be, here are some other ways to earning extra money online.

Article Writingearning-extra-money-online

If your English skills are up to scratch and you know how to write effective articles then why not consider writing articles for money. There is quite a high demand for article writers all you have to do is write some samples and advertise your services. Forums are good places to advertise such services but be sure to adhere to their guidelines.

eBay

Yes there is money to be made on eBay though buying and selling items. If you have a good eye for determining if items are valuable then buying and selling on eBay might be for you. Of course this takes time and is not a sure way of making extra money online.

Website/Blog Promotional Services

If you have skills in link building, directory submission or SEO then this will highly benefit you in making extra money online as your services are needed by almost everyone who has a website and can’t do it themselves.

I personally used to do this when I was low on cash or waiting for pay checks to come and I can tell you it is grueling work but the pays not bad and you build on your skills. A good way to advertise promotional services is on forums, or you can set up a web page with your service details and prices on and email it to webmasters and see if they respond.

Graphic Design & Photography

If you are the creative type then why not design some good looking images and sell them online. If you are a photographer then take some decent appealing images and sell them. There is always demand for appealing images and photos and some good sites that allow you to do this would be Stockpot, ShutterStock and GraphicLeftOvers.

Freelancer Sites

If you find being an independent freelancer doesn’t bring in enough jobs or you are finding it hard to find clients then why not join up to sites that connect freelancers with clients? A good one I used to use was oDesk, and they have all sorts of online jobs. You work through a remote client and you can be paid a fixed amount or work by the hour charging your desired amount. Check them out here.

Alternate Online Payment Options

online_paymentPayPal is currently the preferred payment method for internet transactions as it is simple and effective. The problem with PayPal is that it is not available to all countries, which can be very frustrating to online merchants that wish to sell products in unsupported countries. I am one of those unlucky few, so I have put together a list of other good payment services available.

  1. AlertPay: Very similar to PayPal. It is easy to use and has great customer support. A very good alternative to PayPal but the only problem is that not many people use it.
  2. FastSpring: Personally FastSpring is one of the best payment options you can register with. If you are an online merchant and cannot accept PayPal payments this is your best choice. I have signed up with them and their customer service is exceptional, and they can handle your clients PayPal payments.
  3. Money Bookers: They are also a popular alternative to PayPal, I have read good reviews on them. I have however not used their service so I can’t personally recommend them.
  4. Plimus: Another great alternative to PayPal if you are an online merchant. They also have an affiliate network and they also have a digital product store. The only negative comment I have heard about them is that they are slow at paying out.

Those are my top alternate payment options to PayPal. Hope you enjoyed the post, check back regularly for more info or subscribe below. Thanks for reading.

Useful Internet Marketing Twitter Tools

As we have all seen Twitter can be a very powerful Internet marketing tool as you can share information with vast amounts of people in seconds. Twitter is ideal for getting fast traffic to your sites and building good relationships with your followers and clients.

Twitter is fairly easy to begin with, nothing complicated at all when getting started. Even though Twitter is easy to understand there are quite a lot of useful tools out there that can make your Twitter life easier, and save you time in the process.

Useful Internet Marketing Twitter Tools

Follow Us On Twitter

  1. FlashTweet : Is probably one of the best multipurpose Twitter tools available. You can add multiple Twitter accounts, mass follow users based on search terms, schedule tweets in advance to run throughout the week and many more. Sadly you now have to pay to use this service, but there is a 14 day free trial to date its worth checking it out.
  2. Huitter : Is a simple but useful free Twitter tool that allows you to do 3 things, unfollow all who do not follow you back, unfollow all and follow all who follows you. Quick, free and easy.
  3. Twollow : Basically this service offers you to find and follow people with similar interests to you, good for finding people interested in your niche.
  4. TweetLater : This is a free and paid service and allows you to schedule tweets for specific times, send automatic DM’s when someone follows you and automatically unfollow someone when they stop following you.
  5. TweetaFile : Allows you to send pictures, documents and videos in your tweets.  I find this useful when giving my followers a free eBook or video tutorials.
  6. Twonvert : Find you can not fit your whole message into the 140 characters that Twitter provides? Use Twonvert to convert your tweets into SMS shorthand language. I have not tried this service but thought it would be useful to some.
  7. IsTwitterDown : A simple tool that informs you if twitter is down or not, displays a yes or no answer.
  8. TweetDeck : Desktop Twitter application that helps to organize your twitter profile. You can create groups to easily follow friends, follow topics in real-time with saved searches and you can manage multiple Twitter accounts with ease.
  9. Su.pr : A brilliant URL shortening service for Twitter created by the people who run StumbleUpon. One very useful aspect of this tool is that when you shorten a URL it also gets exposed to StumbleUpon’s 8 million users as well, very useful.

That’s it for now. I hope you found these Twitter tools useful and I hope they will aid you in your Internet marketing journey. If there are any useful tools I’ve left out, feel free to post a comment with them in. Thanks you.

Welcome to our 3rd and last post on landing page optimization. In this post I will be detailing the rest of the factors you have to focus on to increase your landing page conversions and in turn earning you more money per visitor.

Make it Easy to Spend

Only having one payment option is a very bad idea. Lets say you only accept Pay-Pal as a payment method and someone from a country where Pay-Pal is not supported wants to purchase your product, you just lost that sale.

Having multiple payment options makes it easy for clients to buy from you, and that is what you want. Accept credit cards, direct bank transfers and maybe even have a monthly payment plan. The more payment options you offer increases your conversions and commissions, simple.

Background Colors Do Effect Conversion Rates

Research has shown that your landing page background color can have an effect on your conversion rate. Studies have shown the best color to use are is dark blue but other colors such as Black, Grey and White also perform just as well. Avoid using bright colors as this has a noticeable negative effect on landing page conversions.

Another tip is to your products watermark to the background, doing this has been tested to increase conversions up to 30%, your visitors might view your site as an authority on the product/service you are trying to promote.

Other Aspects To Increase Conversions

  • Don't waste your time writing about how much you believe in the product you are trying to sell and how much it has done for you. The truth is people care far more about themselves than they care about you. Tell them what the product can do for them, how they can benefit from it, not how you benefited from using it.
  • The most powerful word to an Internet marketer is "You" And use it, a lot.
  • Command people to take action, do not ask them. If you want them to buy your product say "Buy Now!" and link to your product. Do not say "Maybe Buy This" as it will not be effective.
  • Guarantee: This is one of the most powerful tools in Internet marketing as it can make all the difference in conversions. What is truly amazing about a guarantee is that it shows the seller has confidence in his/her own product. It makes the potential buyer feel safer knowing they can get their money back. And the best thing about a guarantee is most people forget about it even if they are dissatisfied with the product.
  • Free bonuses are a great way to heavily increase conversions , even if its a PLR product as people love to think they are getting something for free.

That's the end of our 3 part "Increase Landing Page Conversions" series. I hope you have learned something new that will help you increase your conversion rate, my next post will be on Useful twitter tools so keep updated, thank you for reading.
