Welcome to our 3rd and last post on landing page optimization. In this post I will be detailing the rest of the factors you have to focus on to increase your landing page conversions and in turn earning you more money per visitor.
Make it Easy to Spend
Only having one payment option is a very bad idea. Lets say you only accept Pay-Pal as a payment method and someone from a country where Pay-Pal is not supported wants to purchase your product, you just lost that sale.
Having multiple payment options makes it easy for clients to buy from you, and that is what you want. Accept credit cards, direct bank transfers and maybe even have a monthly payment plan. The more payment options you offer increases your conversions and commissions, simple.
Background Colors Do Effect Conversion Rates
Research has shown that your landing page background color can have an effect on your conversion rate. Studies have shown the best color to use are is dark blue but other colors such as Black, Grey and White also perform just as well. Avoid using bright colors as this has a noticeable negative effect on landing page conversions.
Another tip is to your products watermark to the background, doing this has been tested to increase conversions up to 30%, your visitors might view your site as an authority on the product/service you are trying to promote.
Other Aspects To Increase Conversions
- Don't waste your time writing about how much you believe in the product you are trying to sell and how much it has done for you. The truth is people care far more about themselves than they care about you. Tell them what the product can do for them, how they can benefit from it, not how you benefited from using it.
- The most powerful word to an Internet marketer is "You" And use it, a lot.
- Command people to take action, do not ask them. If you want them to buy your product say "Buy Now!" and link to your product. Do not say "Maybe Buy This" as it will not be effective.
- Guarantee: This is one of the most powerful tools in Internet marketing as it can make all the difference in conversions. What is truly amazing about a guarantee is that it shows the seller has confidence in his/her own product. It makes the potential buyer feel safer knowing they can get their money back. And the best thing about a guarantee is most people forget about it even if they are dissatisfied with the product.
- Free bonuses are a great way to heavily increase conversions , even if its a PLR product as people love to think they are getting something for free.
That's the end of our 3 part "Increase Landing Page Conversions" series. I hope you have learned something new that will help you increase your conversion rate, my next post will be on Useful twitter tools so keep updated, thank you for reading.

Welcome back. This is our second post on landing page optimization, our first post was on landing page headers and what techniques you should implement to push up conversions. This post will be detailing how to use tones and language skills to further increase your landing page conversions.
Tones & Language Type
When you are designing a landing page there is nothing more important than your language and tone skills. To get this right is very important because the sentences you construct and the tone you use will, in the end be the determining factor in turning your prospective client into a buying client. Let’s take a further look into tones and language tips for your landing pages:
- Avoid the passive voice - Your landing pages must seem active and the way to achieve this is not to use the passive voice. Clients also like reading information that seems to be personally directed at them, make your landing page content seem like your having a personal conversation with your client.
- Bold, Underlined and Italics - Use these 3 formatting techniques to make important words jump out of the page. Be careful not to overdo it though as this could have negative effects.
- Spelling - Nothing screams "Don't Buy from Me" than misspelled words. Would you buy a product from someone who can’t spell? I know I wouldn't.
- Perspective - Keep your perspective constant if you start writing in the 3rd person, keep writing in the 3rd person. Consistency in your landing page content is highly advised to drive up conversions.
That’s it for now. Next post will be on all the other general factors that will increase your landing page conversions such as background colors, payment methods and use of the golden word so keep checking back for updates. Thanks for reading and I hope this information will help increase your conversions.

Every Internet marketer who is earning just enough to stay interested in the filed and wishes he could be one of the millionaires you hear so much about, should master landing pages and what tactics to implement on them.
This is exactly what I am going to do in this post, amazing conversion tactics is what I am talking about ladies and gentlemen. Some of the landing page tips are quite obvious but i suppose we all need our memory refreshed every now and then.
Headers On Landing Pages
- Headers are, almost always the first thing your potential client sees when viewing your site. Using a high quality graphic is essential to conversion rates. Simply put people will likely NOT buy a product from a ugly site. I don't mean thrown in all the bells and whistles in an image just make sure its clean, neat and looks appealing.
- Headers must always have a good load time. This could become quite hard to balance with large high quality graphics but as a said before the header doesn't have to be HD quality. Important! - Most Internet marketers assume all their clients are on high speed Internet connections. Do not assume this! As probably a large amount of your prospective clients are only using 56k.
- Your header should have a clear connection with your product. Don't place images of pineapples and an apple marketing site, simple.
- Your header must not clash with the layout and design of your site. Make sure everything flows and looks right, rule of thumb is if it looks nice to you then it will hopefully look nice to someone else, if your not sure then get a second opinion.
Well thats it for now, part 2 will be on tones and language types to use in landing pages to increase conversions. Hope you enjoyed this post and hope it helps you to achieve greater conversions as we all desperately want.
